It is the song Money for Nothing, and in the song their is a strange sound, can be keybord or moog or something but I am not able to pinpoynt the sound it is alien to me
 
it comes first at 2:04 minuts in, the wailing drone sound, what is it Confused

some sort of cheap 80s synth, probably supposed to be a "harpsichord" sound

Dunno if it is a synth, but you could make it on one. Sounds like maybe a sawtooth or triangle wave with a fast attack, fast decay, medium sustain, and quick release put through a filter envelope that follows a similar pattern with a low pass filter tracking the volume of the note.

It would be hilarious if I'm even kind of right about that.

Its a harpsichord through 37 Marshall stacks turned to 11.

Or maybe just a harpsichord sample through a distortion pedal, but the first answer rocks more.
