I am looking for a Popol Vuh piece titled "Brothers Of Darkness-Sons Of Light". I originally heard the track years ago when I owned the LP Tantric Songs on the Celestial Harmonies label. The "Brothers Of Darkeness" track is heard on Nosferatu and is titled "On the Way". I was wondering if the 17 or 20 minute piece "Brothers Of Darkness-Sons Of Light" was originally from a soundtrack or a Popol Vuh title that I may not own?

So, anyway, this is what I own:............

Spirit Of Peace
Sei Still, Wisse Ich Bin
Yoga
Die Nacht Der Seele
Nosferatu
Letzte Tage- Letzte Nachte
Aguirre
Das Hohelied Salomos
Einsjager & Siebenjager
Seligpreisung
Hosianna Mantra
In Den Garten Pharaos
Affenstunbde

If anyone knows of  an original German release that includes this track ....please write in?  Appreciate it.

It's on the album Tantric Songs. Hang on a minute; if you owned the album which had the song on it then you don't need to ask this question. Just go and buy a new copy of Tantric Songs.

It was originally on the album I linked though, which it happens to be the title track from.

I'm sorry, I didn't make my request very clear. I've been trying to research the German titles to see where certain tracks on domestic versions derive from. This was a track I couldn't trace. Thanks Salty Jon.....I believe this is it. Celestial Harmonies versions, although they are great, are not the original representation of how Fricke intended the release to be.

Hi,

I never bought a Popol Vuh album off Celestial Harmonies ... the original German pressings were the ones to get. Celestial Harmonies had other things that were nice.
