I guess they are a "pop punk" band Dead though I scoff at that because musically, and for sure lyrically they are more than that.
Regardless, Bad Religion is one of my favorite bands, ever.
Personal favorite album is No Control, followed by The Empire Strikes First.

Speaking of lyrics, it is something I often over look, but Bad Religion has some of my favorite lyrics. Witty, intelligent and left wing of course Wink. I wonder if they and SoaD had any influence on me as a youth...anywho

Any other fans?

I was compelled to check them out after hearing Anathema's cover of Better Off Dead on Alternative 4 (it's great, reminds me of Alanis's cover of My Humps LOL). I'm not a huge fan of punk (post-punk?), but I don't mind Bad Religion and AFI.
