Just added their EP J.A.C.K. - Follow Your Instincts 2.0 (http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=29366), but for some reason the name's screwed up.

Someone can fix it please? The correct is:

J.A.C.K. - Follow Your Instincts 2.0

Thanks, done.

By the way, I often see here on PA albums' additions before their release dates. What for?

Humm, in my case I add an album when I see it on the official site of the band, so, it's a true information

^ I agree with him Eugene. It's good to add albums ahead of time, when it's confirmed by band themselves.

On the other hand, it helps people who have pirate copies to rate/review them earlier.

I don't see the reason to hurry. Help owners of pirate copies in rating/reviewing? I don't think it's main PA goal. Smile

And sometimes big delays are possible. For example, this Solaris CD  http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=1242 - http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=1242  has been announced in 2001 and added to PA database, but it is not released yet and I don't know whether it will be published at all.

It was only a question. Smile
If it's not against PA rules my opinion does not matter.

Wink

But I understand what you mean, I've already saw people adding albuns with no track list, cause the bands haven't said which songs will be on the record, just to be the 'one' who added the record LOL

You're right in this Eugene. I once suggested improvement of PA that these albums will have some kind of lock feature, that they will be unlocked once release date is confirmed. This seemed to be too difficult to implement.

Anyway, it's not rule, but generally, people (both members and collabs) are adding albums in forward of official release. Pirate copies are problems here and it's long termed problem here, but these ratings are usually erased quickly.

We must consider each album, each addition with conditions and consequences it may have. For example, if you won't add new Muse album, somebody else will, that's for sure. And less known ones won't get these early ratings by owners of pirate copies. That's different point of view.

:-)
