Our Special Collab http://www.progarchives.com/Collaborators.asp?id=25551 - Slava from Lithuania is unable to access PA since yesterday. The site doesn't show up at all. The error he receives is "server unavailable". His internet works fine and no other site gives him this problem.

May this be because of the server maintenance done yesterday and today?

'Service unavailable' happened to me too...I don't mean on re-indexing of the database M@X did on June the 2nd, but two days ago again. However, everything was back in order after half an hour.

I strongly believe there is some DNS issues around the world.

On MAY there was a major upgrade the INTERNET  (DNS, Routers, ISP)
this still may affect some users worldwide.

Otherwise ,  I am really confused.

Yes, my wife from her office PC have usual access to PA. I have two PCs at home, so I just changed one to another (with same IP), same result - from my IP I can't open PA (getting same message - "server couldn't be found". It looks,it's connected with my IP address only?

Windows users can try this...

How to Flush DNS in Microsoft Windows

In Microsoft Windows, you can use the command ipconfig /flushdns to flush the DNS resolver cache. Open the command prompt and type the following:

C:\>ipconfig /flushdns
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

And please report back

Flush your DNS Cache in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard

Launch Terminal and issue the following command:
dscacheutil -flushcache
All done, your DNS has been flushed. On a side note, the dscacheutil is interesting in general and worth taking a look at, try the -statistics flag instead for some stats.

Flush your DNS Cache in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger

Type the following command in the Terminal:
lookupd -flushcache

That’s it, that’s all there is to it. Now your DNS settings should be as you intended them to be.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Major issue that I don't f@#$#@$ know what is causing it.

My clue is that ISP  http://aaisp.net.uk/ - aaisp.net.uk   have lost the link with PA and create some problems with other UK ISPs because ISPs synchronize themselves daily.

I contacted them 1hour ago.

I will continue troubleshooting this.

Thanks for reporting

Sorry Max. I am just very tired after a weekend at my office/work and I was not concise enough when I tried to express myself.

British Telecom (BT) have had a lot of issues here in the UK for the last 72 hours. BT is the main ISP and they also owns all the hardware over here on which the rest of the ISPs and those on networks is vegetating on. I am not sure if this tidbit helps you though.....

Good to hear some PA members are getting their access back, unfortunately some new ones are losing it, like Marty from the Czech Republic (though it's strange that he had access when the first guys were losing it). He gets "unable to reach host" when he pings progarchives.com. Also, Lithuania is still out of PA. Disapprove
