Any information would be appreciated, as it is for a friend and I wanted to get him a birthday present.

Portuguese = maybe Banda Do Casaco ?
Not sure at all.
The track is reminiscent of Jethro Tull's 'A' album.

Hi,

It's not Banda do Casaco, I don't think. They are way too traditional at times, and tend to go more towards the folk side of things than they do this kind of fusion.

I'm more thinking that it is something Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, or from those areas since they had a massive number of bands that were progressive related.

The nearest thing I can think of is Focus .Thijs Van Leer was/is an amazing flautist.Don't recognise it though sorry.

Hi,

I'm leaning towards a side project for Caravan, like Mandalaband, or that other one they had. But I am not aware that these guys play that much with women, and Carla Bley has been said to be "one of the guys" ... (hehe!)

I dont think that Focus would do an album with vocals in ´portuguese... Could be Focus con Proby? (I think that it is the unique album with vocals) i dont know the album very well

Now I am really curious about the song name, it souds to me like Yes
