FramePictures is a band from Porto (Portugal) and have been playing music together since 2004. The members of the band all have different musical backgrounds, but one essential feature is throughout common: High musicianship and longstanding experience. This all has flown into their debut "Remember It" which moreover comes along with a rich and perfect sound. Musical influences vary from progressive-rock and progressive-metal to post-metal. The vocals are sung in English. "Remember It" has a playing time of ways longer than one hour and contains some long-tracks, amongst them one of more than ten and twenty minutes playing time respectively. Galileo Records GmbH will publish "Remember It" soon on a worldwide basis.

Their acclaimed musicianship comes - amongst others - from three of the band studying music at the Pop Academy in Rotterdam und them all using mainly analogous equipment. This leads the way to their musical style: A unique blend of avant-garde-prog without denying their influences by bands such as King Crimson, Camel, Anglagard, Gentle Giant, The Flower Kings, Porcupine Tree or Pain of Salvation. Their debut "Excavations of the Mind" is a complex dynamical symphonic concept-album. It is backed by a fantastic cover of legendary Mark Wilkinson who is famous for his masterpieces for Marillion, Fish, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Galileo Records GmbH will bring out "Excavations of the Mind" on a worldwide basis soon.
