hell yeah I like the music-- I've seen them live twice (they frequently open for themselves as The Folksmen BTW) and the material is always a pleasure as 'bad' as it is.. and the stage show is hilarious. Seriously though, all three core members are very good musicians and you can especially tell that in A Mighty Wind. One funny anecdote is that when McKean and Guest were writing Spinal Tap's music, they had to intentionally sabotage it so it wouldn't be too good
