This is sad news.....
My girlfriend watches a lot of British series and films, so I saw his fave periodically
Definitely his role in thye Wicker Man must be one of his better.
Wild pagan folk music in that movie ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

Such a fine actor, even when in dreck such as "The Equalizer".
Special kudos for "Breaker Morant". Simply sublime, in a sublime film.

Breaker Morant is one of my favourite films of all time. Simply amazing performance. I read the book Scapegoats Of An Empire by Lt. George Witten shortly after seeing the film and Woodward nailed it. RIP ------------- |
