I've been discussing one of the following two songs (the Hendrix one) with a couple of friends, and then I started wondering just how many of these songs are out there.

Here's two to kick-start the list:

Beatles:  Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds
Hendrix:  The Stars That Play With Laughing Sam's Dice

I think that for fairness the titles must be in the "LSD" format, so for example Santana's Love Devotion and Surrender doesn't make the list.

Celine, Buble...

Really, I'm wondering how many of these L...S...D sequence titles there were back when, or between then and now for that matter.

How about "Tago Mago" of Can?
The word of "LSD" is actually derived for lyrics of "Oh Yeah".

"Der LSD-Marsch" by Guru Guru from their album "UFO", also "Chicken Rock"(which is the story of a chicken farmer who has taken an LSD trip) from "Mani und seine Freunde" and "Dös War I" from their album "Hey Du!", which is a German language version of "Chicken Rock", but with completely different music, not even based on the same riff or harmonies.
"Jenseits" by Ash Ra Tempel tells the story of their first meeting with Timothy Leary, with whom they worked together for some time. It is therefore about LSD too, of course.

Man, I tried to search for songs with and L and S and a D in the title in that order, but I can't do that with anything I have. Unhappy
My mental cuisinart is a bit scrambled at the moment.  No it didn't involve LSD in case you were thinking that. Tongue

I'd kind of like to take a Xanax Taxi at the moment though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn_BE4TxG6o - Brand X - Xanax Taxi

I'm not sure but "Love seems doomed", by The Blue Magoos, released in 1966 (?) was considered the first song with the LSD series.

Not only in the English language but also I guess in many others, as in Portuguese.

"Lindo sonho delirante" (1968) is an example, the title ("Delirious beautiful dream") and the clip say all:

Thanks everyone, keep 'em coming.  I figured early Pink Floyd might be a possible source, but alas found only Lucifer Sam, and Sam's a cat, not a Dog.

Goa Trance is pretty blatant as far as that goes ...

Hallucinogen - LSD

But as far as mnemonics go, I'm stumped.

Enigma's greatest hits album is called 'Love Sensuality Devotion' ...
