I am trying to find the name of a group and the correct title of a long album track (7:25) from the early 70's (probably '71) which MIGHT be titled "The Warrior".  The lyrics in the first segment are:  "And the warriors went off to battle, leaving tearful loved ones behind. They went off in answer to a vision, which the wisemen planted in their minds.  That all men had been created equal, and to share that all life has to give.  And the right to do as he pleases, to be free as long as he lives.  They had lived an empty dream, and in that they would be free."
I kind of remember a WALSH being the leader of this group, and thought it might be Steve Walsh, before Kansas.  But all I can find out about him is that Kansas was originally called White Clover, and that is DEFINITELY NOT the name I remember being on the album cover.  The cover, by the way, was very colorful and interesting like early Yes album covers and future Kansas album covers.  Plus, the song is very much like something Kansas would do, only without the fiddle.
PLEASE HELP ME!  Would love to find out GROUP NAME, SONG TITLE, and ALBUM TITLE.
Thanks much.
Jay

Check out The Bomber by The James Gang, led by guitarist Steve WALSH, later of The Eagles.

Correct, and you could have found that out easily just by Googling the first line of the lyric.
