It's not really I bug, but is there anyway around this problem. Bearing in mind I am NOT allowed to install a different browser, or install any kind of 'ad blocking' software on my PC at work, for reasons of security etc..

Most of the time when I try to open a thread the page wont fully load. It counts down to about '90 items remaining' before giving up, and I have to 'ctrl alt delete' to get out of Internet Explorer. If I'm able to post this, it will be sheer luck. Can someone explain in 'thicky' language why this happens, and is there a way round it, without installing anything?

Is it something to do with the links in posts, or enormous pictures of Dream Theater in their skateboard gear, that stop the page from loading..??

^ You are using IE6 - all I can suggest is clearing out your cookies & cache and trying again.

My company is about as up to date as yours Andy. We're still on IE6 and it works fine for me, although admittedly the big Dream Theater photos take take ages to download. I can't think of any obvious reasons why it shouldn't work for you.
Does the page reload if you click refresh or is IE locked out completely?
