I updated an album of a Polish artist Tadeusz Woźniak (which I added previously) and all diacritics disappeared, look: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=22046 - http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=22046 . And it's not the first time it happened.

Yeah, I just noticed that:

Włodzimierz (other name variations: Włodek, Wlodek, Vlodek) Gulgowski, born 13.02.1944, is a Polish jazz pianist, composer and arranger. He debuted in an amateur swing band to soon join a dixieland ensemble New Orleans Stompers with which he made his first recordings in 1963.
The same year he performed during the festival Jazz Jamboree '63 in Zbigniew Namysłowski Quartet. The band achieved notable success and in 1964 recorded Z. Namysłowski Modern Jazz Group: Lola for British record company Decca.

Perhaps this can help: letters are shown correctly, if I set Central European (ISO-88-59-2) coding for mentioned page:

Włodzimierz (other name variations: Włodek, Wlodek, Vlodek) Gulgowski,...
