Say what? Yes, Wieverfasteloovend, which is local dialect for "women's carnival", the day we have today. On this day women rule in Cologne; at 11:11 AM the Lord Mayor surrendered the keys of the city hall to a delegation of women, who then cut off his tie. To get an impression what is going on in Cologne on this day, here a video from last year.
