Browsing the album reviews and just wanted to say how great it looks and the new sound links are really flash too. A great " refresh" which engages the reader to listen more readily to sounds if available. Well doneClap

BTW, I am sure this thread is alive and kickin somwehere already  but could not find it so BUMP away......

Along the years we have had quite some changes now, some big, some small. Sometimes it took me time to get used to them but most of the changes have proven to be improvements and I have no doubt the latest will do so too.  By nature I'm a bit conservative where changes are concerned but I must admit it gives a lively impression on a site like this. Prevents you from falling asleep or switching on the automatic pilot.

Seriously though, what changes are we talking about?

It's OK, but I think it would be better that the name of the band will apear first, at large font, and the album name below, in small font. Its hard to realsize which album and band are reviewd...

and the other details such as genere, "first review" should not be so pale.

and it would be nice if the review font would be much larger.
Thanks

The look is awesome.  Some of us are concerned though about the sound links which are not specific to the album being reviewed. Albums by the same artist can be radically different, and by having the sample linked to artist rather than album, you can create a seriously false impression of the music on the reviewed album for site readers who may not be paying close enough attention to realize the distinction.

I think the sound link should be married to the appropriate album only, or dropped until it can be arranged that way.

Besides that issue, the other changes are a big Thumbs Up

One thing though - the entries of individual artists have changed from "Surname, First name" to "First name Surname". This complicates quick reference searches in the alphabetical lists, and makes it difficult to distinguish single individual artists with "strange" names from bands with "strange" names in the charts. I'd suggest to change it back.
