The only thing these two have in common is that they are both called Gene. Other than that though, they are universes apart in style, era and audiences. This fact, of course, is what motivated me to create this poll. Both are very skilled drummers, but which one if your favourite?

I chose Gene Hoglan. But I supposed that's just me being bias Krupa is astounding though, I must say.

IŽd have to check KrupaŽs work before voting,
but when it comes to great drummers I always
have a place for Gene Hoglan.
 
Maybe his drumming in "Symbolic" speaks for itself.

Both are/were great drummers, but Gene Hoglan is my fav.
