I really hated to see advertisers on PA's front page advocating increased oil drilling in the U.S. I keep getting images of some selfish Mr Burn's style billionare rubbing his hands and saying "excellent".
How about we feature more "progressive" advertisers instead of those who cling selfishly to an outdated past in order to make more money for themselves.
Great site otherwise.
Thanks.

I agree.  But it might be that the site's owners don't handpick the ads, i.e. they're selected randomly.  Still, there are probably alternatives to this.

I believe such ads are provided via an agency, so the site does not have any real control in the content.

mailto:M@x - M@x has made significant efforts to move to more relevant ads, but its fair to say he has received little help with this from us the members.

At the end of the day, it's all down to funding.

Thanks for the info Bob, I'm sure Max is doing what he can, I just kind of 'freaked' when I came to my favorite site and there's this big flashing sign at the top promoting the nasty old oil industry.

Anyway, I'm through complaining ... carry on.
