There are links in the main page to buy cd's from several known sources:
  • PROG SHOPPING:
  • http://www.progarchives.com/RefLinks/GEMMProgStore.asp - Rare Albums @ GEMM
  • http://www.progarchives.com/RefLinks/AmazonProgStore.asp - Prog Rock @ AMAZON
  • http://www.progarchives.com/RefLinks/EBAYProgStoresResults.asp - Prog Rock @ EBAY
  • http://offers.thumbplay.com/offers/1070/artisttitle?thpartist=Rush - RUSH Ringtones and more @ Thumbplay
Though this is a good idea, I feel we should also add links to prog Vendors such as Wayside, Laser's Edge, Greg Walker, Doug Larson, Walhalla etc from all over the world in order to support those who dedicate their business to the music we love so much.
I have provided several times links for online vendors and can provide those links if needed.

Another option would be to have a link there that leads to a new page with links to Prog Vendors.

Just a suggestion, thanks for considering it.

I believe the links which have been added there are sponsored links, which help fund the site.

Yes, I have no problems with those, they help pay the bills and that is cool.

What I had in mind can be seen here and thanks a lot for doing it.

I can help make a better list, ordered by location, how Prog dedicated is that website etc.

Thanks again for this wonderful feature!

By all means, they should be added.

I;m not sure if it's the whole list I published some time ago in a thread about the subject, but in any case, I'd like to order it a bit as I posted it in that thread without much order.

As I see it, I'd like to order it in Geographical location and then to Known established vendors like Greg Walker, Wayside, Walhalla etc.

Right now there are in that list some Amazon-like stores which I don't like too much but they do offer prog cd's (at times for good prices). So those stores should come lower in the list.

Moreover, I think those prog-vendors could then give a link to PA in return for this favour.

Excellent! Clap

Just noticed this, and it is a very nice feature. All of the ones that I know from that list (which sadly are few...but will soon be fixed) deserve the attention.

Well done!

Seems the link in the main page is gone; too bad.
In any case, I'm keeping the link in my sig.
