Check this out - a new double solo album, new No-Man and a live DVD/CD.

No mention of the Portnoy/Åkerfeldt collaboration or the re-release of Lightbulb Sun.

Sorry guys, it was up yesterday.

The DPRP site has taken it down.  Maybe just temporarily.

Can´t see it either, why was it taken down?

I did see some members of the PT-forum post this:

On a solo album:
Quote Steven: “Well, I would like that album to be as much solo as possible as I will do everything by myself. It will be an eclectic album filled with all kinds of music like rock, hip hop, metal, disco, electronics, singer songwriter material and even some cover versions. It will be a very diverse double album that I can only listen to myself for the entire time ... This is something that I really want to do now, as this massive album will show what I am musically all about. Because PT, Blackfield and No- Man only show small parts of me but this new solo album will show it all. So, you can really expect a non –commercial double album filled with surprises.”

Quote
main points on the interview apart from the info on de double solo CD
- how he enjoyed the gig in the HMH
- how they still want to reach much more people, and like Radiohead wants to reach a point where everyone has an opinion about them - and how the Amsterdam gig proves they can also come across well in larger venues
- he describes how they wanted to drop 'Trains' which is not one of his faves, but that people kept demanding it
- his favourites seem to be different ones than the general audiences' favourites - naming Lets Sleep Together and Stop Swimming as examples of his own favourites, but he is also proud of Anesthetize
- Satsified with the sounds on the BF DVD but not so much with the venue where they recorded it. Feels BF is really just in its initial stages and it could develop much more
- live album could very well be companion release to live DVD -
- he really liked playing TSMS in Amsterdam

-------------
Nobody needs to go anywhere else. We are all, if we only knew it, already there.

a little error here - it wasn't ready for publication yet, as it was just one part of the interview. It'll be back online before the end of the month (hopefully)
