'Crazy world of Arthur Brown' is a brilliant and revolutionary album...musically a lot of influences and a hanful of good ideas with the hilarous and fascinating Mr Brown on vocals and recitations...strange that this album is not ranged under the prog label...Because conceptualy this is really progressive!

MAX, WHERE ARE YOU?

I remember seeing the CWOAB on Ed Sullivan. Brown had this helmet thing with a torch on his head, singing, "Fire, I need you to burn." Great Lyrics.

Have you heard ELP's version on their "Return of the Manticore" compliation?

Meagor. Bizarre!!! It probably belongs in the archives.

I agree - the Crazy World album is for me one of the best 3 albums from the 60's. Only bettered by a couple of Hendrix albums.

As of Kingdom Come, a couple of so-so releases and the wonderful "Journey" - another classic with not a duff second to be found.
