This album, released in the U.S. by Mercury Records, was really released in 1976 in the L.P. format. The Prog Archives database says it was released in 1989, but this is not true. http://www.amazon.com - www.amazon.com says that the CD was released in 1989.

The discography included in Uriah Heep`s  official website says that the LP was released in 1976, and the CD in 1988: http://heepfiles.info/comp/compchro.htm - http://heepfiles.info/comp/compchro.htm  , http://discography.heepfiles.net/ - http://discography.heepfiles.net/

I think that these are the correct release dates, being from their official website.

I also remember seeing this U.S. compilation in the record shops in the late seventies. There is also an album called "The Best of Uriah Heep" which is an English compilation and it has a different cover and maybe different tracks too. I also saw this compilation in the record shops, and it was the LP version which was released in Mexico. It was released in England by Bronze Records, in November 1975. I have changed the dates etc on the USA album as you suggested.

We also have the 1985 German Best Of on PA so I made that a little more explicit.

The 1975 UK album is not defined on PA, but perhaps it should be!

Many thanks  Thumbs%20Up
