Jimmy Haslip has just written to me, to say the Allan Holdsworth/Alan Pasqua Group will appear at Queen Elizabeth Hall,London, Sunday 9th May. Jimmy Haslip will be on bass - and I assume Chad Wackerman will be on drums. I.e. the line-up of the Holdworth/Pasqua DVD issued in the USA earlier this year.

i just saw holdsworth about a month ago. jimmy johnson (planet x, etc.) was on bass and wackerman was on drums. my sweet lord, it was incredible. i completely lost track of time, it was like an out of body experience watching him play. i've been a fan of him for years, but you don't really get the full effect of his playing untill you see it happen 15 feet in front of you. i'm not sure if it has made me want to play guitar more or less.
