Anyone here heard of 'The Snow' by Adam Roberts? It's a very ambitious and high-concept piece of Science-Fiction.

In short, the whole of Earth has been covered in snow. It snowed for many years on end, and no one really knows why. Six billion people die and only a few thousand survive on the surface...It's really a fantastic read with one of the most thought-provoking, intriguing, haunting endings in any book I've ever read. I recommend it to any who is not illiterate.
