I just noticed that apparently there are three entries for this album:

- 1979: Joe's Garage Act I
- 1979: Joe's Garage Act II & III
- 1987: Joe's Garage Acts I, II and III

Does this make sense? As far as I know the 1987 release is just a re-release, combining all three acts on 2 CDs.

Erm, yes .... and no! The two 1979 releases are fine because they are clearly different recordings.

You could take issue with the 1987 release though ..... while it is a re-issue of the earlier albums, it has been given a different name and should therefore be listed in its own right ... because anyone looking for it would expect to find it under that name. In my opinion, it is correctly defined as a compilation. Oh, and the official FZ website lists them as three separate entries.

So, IMO, we have them correctly defined. But .... I wouldn't object if the entries for the original albums were updated to encompass the re-release. Does anyone else have an opinion?

When documenting my "Best album of the 80s" poll I saw the 87 release listed as a Studio album and that deceived me into including in the poll, wich was a mistake...
