These blinking ads are terrible and they are painful to the eyes! Is there a way to stop/change the ads?

Use an ad blocker e.g. use Mozilla Firefox and download one of the ad blocked add ons.

Hey, that's a good idea. I'm going to do that at work as it sometimes looks like I'm at a disreputable site during my lunchbreak, what with all the boobs and stuff from the mating and dating ads this site is now showing.

I'm sure you guys don't have control over what ads you show, but blinking ads, pictures of barely-clothed women, and the "you won a free laptop" stuff I think makes the site look less credible. Especially since these types of ads are not credible to begin with.
