Mother Gong's albums are also listed under Gong's discography as well. Basically a straight duplication, with lots of work to fix/delete/clean it up it looks like.

Cheers to whoever gets around to doing it!

Hi Cluster,

I remember it being mentioned and since those album have reviews, we can't simnply delete them.

So since and admin is needed here, I will give what albums shold be moved and from where to where:

1. In Gong's disco' there is the 1979 album http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=9960 - Mother Gong: Fairy Tales  which need to be removed (it exists in Mother Gong), the only problem is that there is a review there, so it needs to be moved to the same album in Mother Gong's disco'

2. The Robot Woman albums (1-3): all albums appear in both disco'. Album 1 has a rating w/o review in Mother Gong's disco and reviews in Gong's disco'.
Albums 2 and 3  have reviews in Gong's disco and none in Mother Gong, so they can both be moved from Gong to Mother Gong.

3. http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11012 - Buddha's Birthday  appears in both disco's but has no reviews in either. So it can simply be deleted from Gong's (I can probably take care of that).

4. The same thing goes for the album http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11013 - Fish In The Sky

5. The album http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11018 - Wild Child  has no reviews under Mother Gong but has one under Gong.

6. The live album http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11020 - Live 1991  is in the same basket as items 3 and 4 (no reviews in either).

7. the album http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11016 - She Made the World Magenta  is as items 3,4 and 6.

8. Dito for album http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11060 - Eye  (like items 3,4,6 and 7).

9. The same for the album http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11015 - Tree In Fish

10. the same for http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11014 - Best Of Mother Gong  from 1998

11. the same for the live album from 2005 http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11017 - Glastonbury '79 - '81

I will try to delete all those without reviews from Gong.
If I am successful, I will post it here, and then there will remain those with the reviews to be handled with.

I have deleted all the albums from Gong's disco' I mentioned in the previous post, which had no reviews and posed no problems. Those are:
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11012 - Buddha's Birthday
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11013 - Fish In The Sky
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11020 - Live 1991
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11016 - She Made the World Magenta
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11060 - Eye
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11015 - Tree In Fish
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11014 - Best Of Mother Gong
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11017 - Glastonbury '79 - '81

So that leaves with the following duplicates that have reviews in the Gong disco':
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=9960 - Mother Gong: Fairy Tales
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=11018 - Wild Child
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=9961 - Mother Gong: Robot Woman
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=9962 - Mother Gong: Robot Woman 2
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=9963 - Mother Gong: Robot Woman 3

This I cannot deal with because of reviews.

Just to remind admins that there are still albums to move from Gong to Mother Gong, but they have reviews, so I can not do this on my own.

Thanks,

Assaf
