According to this guy New Musics has bands like Art Zoyd (I knew of Univers Zero calling themselves this). New musics IMO do have more in common with Zeuhl than a lot of Rio and Avant prog bands, I think Univers Zero and Art Zoyd would fit more comfortably in a Zeuhl-New Musics hybrid category, since a fan of Magma would more likely be interested in UV than a fan of Henry Cow.

I do know that UV joined RIO, but, to my kniowlege, that was more of an ideological movement than a musical style. For example if Genesis joined RIO (just an example, I know its highly unlikely) would they be categorised under RIO?.

 I think keep the Avan/RIO section, but remove the New Musics and fuse them with Zeuhl to have a Zeuhl/New Musics category.

I think this would make for some more consistency in the archives. After al, New Musics bands like Univers Zero are arguably Zeuhl themselves, or at least have a very strong Zeuhl presence.
