I propose that in addition to the info on each band in their pages here on PA another info would be added that would say whether this band is still active or disbanded (or just on hold, unknown etc). I find myself sometimes wondering whether this unknown band which I awndered into their page is still recroding albums, so if there is a link to their site I can find out there, but I can as well find out everything about them there so no need for the biography here at all. Another thing is that in the main page where the newest reviews are published, I think that in addition to the genre, year and ratings the country and status of the band should be there as well. Although this is less important than the previous suggestion. Good idea in principle, although with some prog bands, you can't be sure what state they're in (e.g VdGG)! Sometimes you can tell from the biog if they're still active, although I guess if they haven't released an album in the last 10 years, it's probably not a good sign (expect in the case of Kate Bush). |

In another site I visit alot ( http://www.bnrmetal.com - www.bnrmetal.com ) the author writes either Acvive, Disbanded, Unknown. | Perhaps it is time for you to consider upping the acceptable word-count - currently, your guidelines say a minimum of 50 (though it says 75 when you submit a review). It is very hard to pack a lot of meaning into such few words. |
