Has anybody listened to Cream's new live album? I liked Clapton's playing (his better in years) and Bruce's bass. But Bruce's voice is very bad and Ginger Baker sounds tired. Any comments?

I got their (too expensive) DVD from the same concert. I prefer their 60's stuff, but this new thing works well on the slow numbers! Eric's guitar sound is similar as in the old material, and he never did anything cool outside CREAM (IMHO). I thought that Jack sings OK, but he used to play his bass much louder when young, and now he has also selected more softer tones. Ginger is the oldest of these guys, and from these guys his playing has been tamed mostly by time. A fine re-union still!

Thanks, Eetu. I bought the 2-CD set, not the DVD. Probably will buy the DVD too, I want to see these guys playing.
