Hello all! - my band Lifting Line Theory has it's first official release "Wonder."  It is a collection of four original old school prog rock songs.  It is available on Spotify, I Heart Radio, etc (search for Lifting Line Theory, Wonder) or through Band Camp at:   https://liftinglinetheory.bandcamp.com/album/wonder?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR241icq1inGsWpFBcoRVarZnW5O9sMgXqh5nMgRym59wo50i9aaJ3inoH4_aem_4c15rjbgMCezKbslRek0_A" rel="nofollow - https://liftinglinetheory.bandcamp.com/album/wonder    For any that give it a listen - thank you very much!

^ It's an excellent album indeed, Chris, and I've no doubt whatsoever that we can find a place for you on Progarchives. However, I'm not sure after just one listen which sub genre would be the most appropriate.

The other thing is, I couldn't find any information about your project on the web from a quick search, and if you read the https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=122381" rel="nofollow - artist submission procedure pinned at the top of this forum you'll see that our teams usually insist on a biography and an artist photo before they will initiate an evaluation.

I'm not too concerned myself about that procedure being strictly adhered to if the music is definitely prog and I can find the necessary information on line to write a reasonable biography of my own for an artist, but in your case, at the moment I can't find anything.

So, you could really help us get this suggestion moving for you by giving as a bit of history about your project (it seems to be just you and your partner who were involved in the creation of the current album), and a photo we could use on your eventual page.

If you could also edit your topic title to include a suggested sub genre, that would help the leader of the appropriate team to spot the suggestion and move it to the next stage, though I can always let them know myself once we have established which might be the most appropriate sub for your music.

Thanks in anticipation for your help with this. Smile

Got it. Will get that info to you as soon as I can. We're equally not sure what genre to claim. We've been called symphonic prog by several so... we'll go with that. I'll post up a bio and band history this evening or tomorrow. My apologies for the scant information. That will be corrected :)
