Has anyone noticed the "Â" all over the place? They seem to be everywhere on the various pages of the forum. I don't know if they are having any effect on the functionality of the forum, or if it's just cosmetic. ------------- No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man. |

The problem seems to have resolved itself. Even the one at the end of my opening post is gone. I actually did consider the possibility that the problem was local, so I tested with another browser, and the problem was there as well. Anyway, my computer has been off for about 8 hours before posting this post, so whatever the cause didn't persist across a cold boot. ------------- No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. I live in Canada, the "local" issue is all of the Eh's. Actually, that's not such a West Coast Canadian stereotype. Now here are some ABC's Cage-style. Sorry, but one of my absolute favourite movie scenes. |

I wonder if it had anything to do with font settings, though problems with those usually display squares. In the library world, sometimes MARC-8 and Unicode get mixed up and display things like  and a host of other random letters with random diacritics. ------------- ---------- i'm shopping for a new oil-cured sinus bag that's a happy bag of lettuce this car smells like cartilage nothing beats a good video about fractions |
