He did an episode last month crying and complaining that he couldn't get Gilmour on his show. I guess it worked!!!

Saw it yesterday, I thought it was pretty good. Beato was in total fandom mode LOL....Not complaining as I would be total gaga!!
So glad DG said he plans to do more albums which means, hopefully, more tours and sooner than later due to age. I could not make any of the Los Angeles shows Cry. My spousal unit has already said if he does another Pompeii show we are going!!! Clap

It was a nice interview. I'm fond of the ones where they "talk shop" rather than about interpersonal squabbles. Gilmour was recently on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show too. Jimmy's interview was also quite respectful.

Hi,

It was nice, and reminds me of a Nick Mason comment about one of the movies ... like a nice home movie ...

It was exclusively about the new album and its material and how it came along, with a few bits and pieces about his playing style and how he comes up with things.

That was nice, and it was a good thing to finally see a member of the band not trashing something or others ... which is really tiring. But, at least it is a "new album" and it is way more original and creative than what RW last did, a re-imagining that had interesting things, but in many ways hurt the original album, and took away the humanity that the album had, and RW's did not! For me, it felt, like someone defacing well known paintings in the Louvre, Prado, or London, or NY ...

It was a nice thing, not ground breaking at all, but like Nick once said ... a nice home movie!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
