This is part three and I expect it will be the last part of a series which started as an exercise in listing some punky/ post-punk bands with two albums from each.  I covered 50 acts with two releases each in the first two polls and in this I am covering 24 acts that I covered in the last two polls with two releases each as well as two from Oingo Boingo which was mentioned in the last poll.

For this poll I'm not caring about how punky the release is, in some case I chose particular albums before because I felt they were more obviously punky or post-punky.  For instance, had I just gone for favourites, while I love the first two Cocteau Twins albums, I would have gone with these.

Siouxsie and The Banshees: Kaleidoscope (1980) / A Kiss in the Dreamhouse (1982) -both wonderful.

-I actually ended up with Tinderbox and Peep Show as a top two of sorts. But Juju is pretty much perfect as well. I love their entire 80's output really, and there's hardly anthing I don't like. Including all their amazing hidden gems found on their #7 B-sides and EP's...

While Heaven or Las Vegas was the album that got me into Cocteau Twins and I could as easily vote for it, I go with Treasure today, which did take  a little longer to fully open up to me.  By the way, like much of this list, I only really got into the choices over the past few years.   I will go with Swan's The Glowing Man, although I like To Be Kind about as much depending on mood.  I do tend to play the 90s albums more, but I love most everything from Children of God up. And for my third choice I will go with Siouxsie and The Banshees' Kaleidoscope.  I too love the entire 80s output and like 70s music too.  Again, this is a band I got into in a big way quite late in my life (over the last couple of years) and am so glad I did.

Nods to Tuxedomoon's The Ghost Sonata (I am so tempted to give it a vote), the Bauhaus albums, Wire's Pink Flag, both Cardiacs' albums (rather surprised to see no votes for it yet), both of Nick Cave's albums., as well as black midi's Cavalcade, which is the first black midi album I really fell for.  All of those would be worth my votes and more here per my tastes.

Glad to see as much appreciation for the music in these polls as there has been.
