Okay. This "feature" on the PA Forum needs to go away. I can see why the censorship is there but it should not affect URLs! >:( Please contat Matx and convince him to get rid of this asinine censorship feature. We're not little children. From what I've seen most PA users are actually old people. xD Like 60+ Come on! It's not like the censored words are offensive slurs... no. Just simple, mild, swear words. Gaahhh! If you can't type it in a post, you shouldn't have it in a URL either. My thought was, what if people (and not just adults but teens) were being directed to some asinine porn site? Better safe than sorry, I suppose. Yeah, if its blocking furry porn links, it appears to be doing its job even more effectively than it was even intended. There is an admin tool in the background that allows you to modify typed text. The default is the ubiquitous format of keeping the first and last letters and filling the rest with asterisks. I loathe most forms of vensorships, but this one has got me laughing Sometimes the system is too wise for its own good it used to be that when we wrote M@X's name, it would get unerlined as if it was an e-mail address (because of the "@" in there). ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

| It's a common non swear word in English too. Sl*g is the the waste material left over from metal smelting or refining. I've got literally tons of the stuff buried in my back garden in the Black Country (English West Midlands), dating back to previous industrial use of the land in the nineteenth century. |
