Has anyone here checked out the new Avenged Sevenfold Album, Life Is But A Dream.... No A7X isn't traditionally considered a prog band, but this new album of theirs is straight up prog across the board, and I think it's fantastic! ------------- Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :) |

It's definitely a grower, I'll say that much. And yeah, I absolutely agree that it's a prog/avant-garde metal album. In fact, Bardberic is working on an Avenged Sevenfold suggestion thread to potentially add the band to the archives, mostly based on the strength of The Stage and Life Is but a Dream

Yes I was planning on finishing the submission last week, but I'm currently undergoing some personal challenges atm, so once I get those resolved irl, then I will finish this submission. Give me like two more weeks or so. |
