Another year, another 25 to complement Paul's. You know what to do. Good luck!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I have no alternative but to vote for Alternative 4, seeing as that's the only album I know, even though some of Anathema's albums are an anathema to me.

No problem! It's definitely a Top 10 for me for that year.

It's Tortoise vs. Thinking Plague here, with Tortoise winning it for me.

I have a soft spot for Kevin Moore's Dead Air For Radios. BLUE would be next followed by Siddhartha's debut.

It's Air vs. Tortoise (a lot of metal on this list to compete with...)

I went with Tortoise' TNT. I also really like Symphonic Holocaust. I was very tempted to vote for Air's Moon Safari, which is certainly the album I have returned to the most. I have been playing that massive Attack album of late.

Not one the list or in PA, though I think relevant to a Prog polls list:
Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children
