Here's another guy that some people will find annoying as a vocalist but I happen to like. But don't you dare knock his bass playing or I will kick your ass. LOL

Yep - he sings like a goofball, plays like a maniac. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Desaturating Seven is a great album, full blown prog rock right there. His voice is fie for the music.

He caught my attention with Frog Brigade which I heard on AOLs long gone progressive streaming radio station.  It was the gateway drug for Primus for me.  I started with Animals Should Not Try To Act Like People and then I was hopelessly hooked and devoured the whole back catalog.

I got hooked on Primus when Pork Soda came out, the rest is history. They’ve not had a dud album at all.
Desaturating Seven is amazing, Frizzle Fry and Tales from the Punchbowl filling out my top 3 from them.

I was a fan since they played a show with Faith No More in 1989 in a small club. Has always been fantastic live. I have tickets to see them in June for A Tribute to Kings tour, but I will have to wait and see. It hasn't been officially canceled or postponed.

Always loved the dude's voice, fits perfectly to their quirky style of music. I started with Frizzle Fry in the early 90's and was really blown away, of course I got the next two and remember eagerly waiting for them to release Tales From The Punchbowl which I think is their best album along with Frizzle Fry.
Unfortunately I think Antipop was their last great album, I really don't care for anything they did since they reformed.

Hi,

I think this is great stuff, and the vocals, for my tastes are almost satirical, and I have no issue with that.

Some incredible bass playing, too! Probably one of the best these days!

Sad, really, and many folks will not give this a good listen for the great material and music that it is.

And just now got an email announcing that the shows have been postponed and are being rescheduled. I was looking forward to hearing Les sing Geddy.

Hope you enjoyed this one.   Very impressive. The vinyl version i got is clear with rainbow splats - very novel indeed. Suits the music / story. Most likely the closest thing to ‘true Prog’ theyve done.
