Hi, My name is Junha Lee, 20 years old, living in South Korea. This is the first time I actually write something in this forum, After 2 years I discovered this site.

My first moment with prog was Rush, and Dream Theater, which My father introduced me. I was really fan of those bands, one day I was introduced some other bands (Yes, Genesis) that was in the same genre called 'prog rock'  ...And I found this site, about 2 years ago. Finding classic prog pieces I never heard of, and getting new prog music recommended. Reviews here helped me a lot to appreciate some albums. My playlist is now full of those prog songs/albums I found on this site! Bands like VDGG, Gentle Giant, Soft Machine, Wobbler, and some italian prog rock bands were really breathtaking. I still didn't listened to all of Top 100 chart, and sub-genre charts since I repeatedly listen to one album if it is so wonderful. So I'm really looking forward to listen other albums.

And thanks to that, I was somehow inspired to make an actual album that reflects my prog-listening experience. And I managed to finish it, quite recently. This is not the first album I made, (actually its third), but previous ones were too low quality and kind of narrowly scoped on prog-metal sub-genre.

The album is titled <Le Grand Méchant>, It's 2-LP length concept album. Took 2 years to actually release it, I had to work at night after school. I don't know how to describe this album, but one thing for sure is that bands i mentioned up there had a lot of influence for this album. I mean, every band i discovered here has some influence in this album.

You can listen to it here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRScVxY7GLE" rel="nofollow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRScVxY7GLE

Thank you once again for helpful resources you provide here! I'll be hanging around here some more!

p.s. South Korea is kind of a barren field of prog. There's almost 0 band who does an 'prog rock' (depends on how you define prog rock). Although there are many listeners, It's kind of hard to find someone/band who actually create something. Sad :(

wow man.  that is pretty far out and I mean far out. Don't get too many from your neck of the woods showing up around here.

Welcome to the site.  I'm in the middle of blowing out the last remaining bits of my hearing but I'll be sure to check out what you did later on.
