I went back 10 pages, but didn't see an appreciation thread for Brainticket.

All I can say is, Cottonwoodhill is my #1 top psychedelic/krautrock album of all time, surpassing early Floyd, early Ash Ra Tempel, etc.

I also liked the '80's albums, "Adventure" and "Voyage."

But Cottonwoodhill is the bomb.

yes, "Cottonwoodhill" is an extremely trippy album. much of its trippiness is owed to the voice of Jamie Muir, especially in the ultralong "Brainticket"

I’m not so keen on playing the entire three part “Brainticket” in one go now, would much rather hear “Egyptian Kings” from the “Celestial Ocean” album, that is really far out.

Cottonwoodhill is something else entirely but Psychonaut through to Voyage is all wonderful dreamy Krautrock

Jamie Muir...? he's on a Brainticket album...?

At any rate I have the first 3 and like them ....though I think I like Celestial Ocean the most.
