Yea that suxs, but old is old and touring pulls a lot out of you I am sure......Glad I was able to see them in 1984 in their heyday on the Heads or Tales Tour. I do remember that was an excellent show!

Didn't even know that they were still together. Gezz. Embarrassed

Ahw. That's bad news for the fans, but good news to the boys.
I sincerely hope to hear some low profile solo stuff and perhaps a farewell album Wink

All in all. Saga is my number #1 band off all times.

All I remember about Saga is that MTV-shown video in the '80s with lyrics about something being "on the loose." Pretty tame stuff. It reminds me of a sales campaign slogan for Moosehead beer in the early '80s: "The moose is on the loose!" I'll take the beer over the band.

Head over to YouTube and check out the first three albums:

Saga (1978)
Images at Twilight (1979)
Silent Knight (1980) (my personal favorite)

Also check out the song "Hangman" from the Phase One archival release.

If you don't like the band, and haven't ever even tried to look past a hitsingle they had in 1981, why even bother to post a reaction?

If I may, I would strongly recommend any album by this great band, and ik particular Heads or Tales (1983), Generation 13 (1996), Network (2004) and 10.000 Days (2007).

Still I don't consider "On the Loose" to be very tame. It's a great hardrock song with a pumping rhythm and great guitar-synth interplay.

They actually never broke up, and released at least 1 album every two years.
