Hymnomancer is a genre-bending amalgam of audio flavors, made up of a metal drummer, a punk rock rhythm guitarist, a funk and jazz bassist, and a psychedelic and blues lead guitarist. Their sounds range from an alternative sound (Fed A Spider) to a classic psychedelic rock sound (Cats n' Dogs) to a full progressive implosion (Trees). Their influences include Pink Floyd, Queens of The Stone Age, Ween, and Misfits to name a few. Hymnomancer has just released their debut album, Holier Than Meow! It's a pity that the recording quality is so low. Hey thanks for your feedback! The older stuff under Luop Garou was recorded on an H1 or an H4 handymike. It is live and improvised, so the mix suffers quality control. The "studio" album, Holier Than Meow! was recorded track by track on an octa-capture and then sent to a mixer, but we had to master it ourselves as our mixer became preoccupied with real life and had to abandon the dream state :(
