An album I've never heard following my disappointment with The Family That Plays Together. Is it any good?

I think you should know there is no interest in this fine album. Starting too many threads maybe....http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=101350

I don't follow Tim. Are you saying the album is good?

My favorite album by spirit. A wonderful synthesis of rock, jazz and blues.

Did you ask for a review, I gave an opinion, I am no reviewer.

It got that the message across that I needed, thanks. As I said "a mini review". Perhaps a mini "mini review," LOL but enough for me to seek out a copy of Clear.

Steve, I wish there was more interest in Spirit. They were a tight undervalued band. You will like Clear. It has aged well. I am gonna spin it today.

Is this a thread or My Dinner With Andre? Anyhow, Clear is enjoyable, and I'm a proud owner.

I just listened to Clear a couple of days ago.  Each of the first four Spirit albums is indispensable to me, though Clear is probably the most disconnected of the four, having been partially derived from sessions where they did soundtrack work (years later memorialized with a reissue of "the Model Shop" soundtrack, which I still need to get), resulting in a more instrumental-based album than usual.  That's great news for prog and jazz fans, though.

^ That's how I feel. I'm a Spirit fan and Clear is my least favorite of the first 4 but still has some nice bits on it...imo.
