I have my ticket to see Magma in Concarneau (France) on 27/2 ... Tongue

Tour / Magma, a mixture of genres that lasts for more than 45 years! For more than four decades, Magma walk quietly between punk and jazz virtuosity : a unique know-how that has conquered thousands of loyal fans around the world. Conducted by the mesmerizing drummer Christian Wander, mythical became training was attended by all thirty different members over the years and will be demonstration of its intact know-how in concert : lives whose legend has it that it comes not unscathed, emotionally or even physically  ! It is therefore on this 45th anniversary that the group will be tonight in Nantes before joining Cenon (30/01), Bruguičres (31/01), Cergy (6/02), Nice (13/02) and Concarneau (27/02) !

All the lucky folks who get to see Magma live, I envy you. Just got hold of the vinyl editions of E-Re, K.A and Riah Sahiltaahk. Life couldn't be better..........( well it could if I saw them in person.......)

I saw Magma in my town (Quimper) in 2004 when they just finished record "KA".
They played in the theatre full of 600 people, the sound was very good !!
This year I think they will play their last album "Sl*g Tanz" (not yet in Progarchives !!!!)

I'm sorry that most of the U.S. shows are not in seated venues.  Standing for Magma may not be an optimum experience.  Seeing them in San Francisco in 1999 at the Palace of Fine Arts was magical.

The Alladin in Portland is a sit down place. A bit old, but still nice.

The concert was very well obviously !
They played old songs from 1001° centigrades or Kohntarkosz, and they palyed their last composition Sl*g Tanz.
Seated or not ! you choose ! but in live their music is much more intensive !!

I have tickets for San Francisco too - very excited! If they do Rďah Sahďltaahk & Šlağ Tanz I would be very happy!

I was fortunate to see both Osaka shows in 2005 (though I missed the first set of the 2nd night) - didn't really expect to be able to see them again!

Oh, and standing is definitely better for me!
