Those first two albums of orchestral and pop/rock covers from them were certainly a blast. Interested in their '07 collection of Zep covers, hoping for some real good covers from '67 this time.

Not having seen touring last year (they played in Paris), I just wonder if they still have the energy and the inspiration to make another tour. Confused

Renaissance is one of the highlights of '60's (prog) rock, just IMO. Their s.t. is also an essential proto-prog album, I think.

Can't wait for new material (unless it's not going to be covers) Tongue

(BTW, this thread should be in the Proto-Prog Forum!)

Update: According  to VF's website, the new album will contain covers of songs from other artists released in 1967, plus one composition from Mark Stein which closes the album. The album will be released in the U.S. on March 3rd. Groovy! Tongue

Is this bugger still here?

Where's maintenance?

This thread would fare much better in the proto-prog lounge where the audience for proto-prog goes.

The last time I looked, Vanilla Fudge was listed as proto-prog.

Well a great cover erm I mean album cover, which is not the same enthusiasm I have for the covers on the album.

Highlights: I can see for Miles, Break on through (to the other Side), For what it's worth and I'm a Believer.

A collection of songs that are likely to fit their current and future touring.

Yeah, it looks like the cover for one of these "tribute albums" you can find in discount stores or in the Cleopatra backcatalogue.
