Formed In The Summer Of 2014, IMFTTBT (I Meant For This To Be Terrific) started out as a solo project for founder Jacob Lutz. After the desolution of his previous band Cazador with Kyle Cerlan and Eric Mannion, Kyle Cerlan joined, making IMFTTBT a duo. Already having one release, The First In A Sequence Of Many, the band started composition of a concept album entitled The Invasion. Written and recorded in less than a month it was released September 9, 2014 just 2 months after The First In A Sequence Of Many. Then then three months later on December 16, they dropped their third release. Specimen X, being a rock opera, tells the struggle of a guitarist and his band during a zombie apocalypse. The Band is currently working on new material for their Upcoming album Lacrimosa, which is planned to be released in March of 2015. We would appreciate if you checked out our new album and left feedback. It is mainly an experimental/prog rock album, but incorporates country, space rock, punk, reggae, blues, doom metal, and musique concrete.
