The Yes Album, I think it's their best by a 'country mile'... Relayer is the only other Yes album I listen to.

This is my first post on these forums so hey all. If I had to listen to one Yes album for the rest of my life it would be Close to the Edge. The opening section is just amazing in your face playing on Howe/Brufords parts. And the melodies of And you and I are so amazingly beautiful I really do feel like im climbing over valleys of endless seas.

This or Close to the Edge, it's a tough call. If I wasn't given any time to think about it, I'd grab Tales first.

Ooh!  A toughy for sure on this one.  For me, it's a three way tie for The Yes Album, Fragile and Close To The Edge.  Tales comes close, but not quite.

Tales is a huge album and takes quite a while to digest; I'd choose it

Close to the Edge (and The Yes Album, which I will sneak along in the same CD case).

I've always enjoyed  Going For the One - but then I'm not the biggest Yes fan you'll find.
Here lies David St Hubbins
and why not....

Close to the Edge because it's almost perfect, but I would miss Roundabout because it is my favourite Yes track.

Fragile, because it is an amazing album and it also has my favorite song which is Heart of the Sunrise.

The Yes Album just makes me happy when I listen to it! I'll usually have a smile right on my face the minute I hear the opening notes of Yours is no disgrace.

There are many other highlights for me from other albums but The Yes album is THE Yes album start to finish for me!

Having said that I really enjoy Magnification (Am I allowed to say that) and find it to be very underated.
