I am basically asking for help. I have read reviews on various titles available in this box set and I am hoping to obtain more insight from members on Archives.

John Travner-The Whale/Celtic Requiem...........Please if you don't mind, I would appreciate if you would compare his music to someone else's so I can get somewhat of a clearer picture of this artist.
Mary Hopkin-Is she like a Judy Collins style singer? If so, I would pass.

Doris Troy- Is this jazz with vocals?   Please give me a description.

Modern Jazz Quartet.......I have yet to hear them.....please compare or describe?

Jackie Lomax- "Is This What You Want?" I haven't taken the liberty to research his history. For some reason Tony Kaye and the band BADGER seem connected. Are they? How would you describe Lomax?

The Radha Krsna Temple- ???

There was a single I once owned on Apple by White Trash yet I can't recall if they were a Blues band or an MC5 type. On one of the discs they are listed as Trash. If you are familiar with the music on this boxset, if you personally own it, or if you collected a great deal of it on LP in the late 60's, please give me your honest opinions on the artists. Is this boxset worth the distance?

John Tavener I believe is sort of modern classical.

Mary Hopkin is a folky singer so I guess you could say she's like Judy Collins. She had a big hit in the UK with "Those were the days" and "Goodbye" which is a McCartney song.

Don't know much about Jackie Lomax but I think he was a Harrison protege.

The Radha Krsna Temple is obviously religious music - they also had a hit in the UK with the Hare Krishna mantra.
