Yes indeed it does. I wasn't very excited about Accelerate, it had a couple of good songs, and a big bunch of rocking for rocking's sake. But the gig they played on that tour, on an outdoor stadium in pouring rain, was absolutely brilliant.

At one time New Adventures was my fave REM album but I've gone off it a bit now. I might be back to Life's Rich Pageant.
 
Accelerate was less of an album and more of a band-relationship fixing exercise. It was still alright though. Gave me hope that now that's out of the way they can actually get back to producing good music.
