I'd like to know if there are (and where) some music club to go to listen some great music.

	Honestly, New York is not the place to go if you can't spend too much! Everything is expensive.

	Curiously, I asked for the same thing last year, because I was there on holiday check the calendar in the stone, Mainly avantgarde music, but something could be interesting to you http://www.thestonenyc.com/ And check also the schedule in the different jazz clubs, there are always very interesting shows around there, (if you like jazz and fusion sounds, of course), and they aren´t as expensive as James Smith noted. 	I wholeheartedly recommend going to The Stone. Even if you've never heard of who's playing, if you get in early and get a seat in the front row, you are only four feet away from the musicians, and it is amazing. The whole place only seats about 80 people. Obviously you should check to see whether you hate who's playing, but just being there is incredible, and it's only $10. Village Vanguard is a bit pricey ($35), but I assume it's worth it if you're interested in who's playing--I've never been, I went to The Stone instead. Of course, that's nothing compared to Rolling Stone tickets, but it's still a signficant amount of money. Edited by Henry Plainview - December 17 2009 at 18:07
