Pomona Rock Festival??

 
Does anyone know anything about some big rock show that is supposedly being held in LA or Pomona this August? I don't know what it's called and I can't find any info anywhere. I hope the rumor is true- this is just what the  IE area needs! Let me know if you've heard anything about it...

Inland Southern California helped spawn the traveling metal carnival of Ozzfest and the respected hip-hop of Rock the Bells, and now there's a new music festival turning up its amps for a go in the region.

Epicenter will launch at the Pomona Fairplex on Aug. 22 with a bill marrying metal, rock and some beats.

"Epicenter really puts together a show of the new generation music fan, if you will, that lives in Southern California," said Del Williams of festival producer Right Arm Entertainment.

Tool, Linkin Park, Alice In Chains, Wolfmother, Atmosphere, Hollywood Undead, Atreyu, Street Sweeper Social Club, Aesop Rock, Sonny and other artists will perform on multiple stages.

Linkin Park's appearance at the festival will be the band's only North American show this year.

Williams said getting Tool and Linkin Park helped cement the plans for the festival.

Right Arm Entertainment, which also puts on Ohio's Rock on the Range festival, used to help produce KROQ's Inland Invasion, which took place at what is now known as the San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore before going on hiatus a couple of years ago.

"We felt that there was a lane that was open for us to put a rock festival together," Williams said.
